With the re-launch that is coming soon, it is to be announced that the current CVZ Car Club member list will no longer be valid and will be either updated or be completely thrown out for a new list. Various prospect requirement are to be announced for the new list and we will be implementing a different type of identification to ensure safety, security and protection for our members. It's not secrecy, more like exclusivity.
We will continue to follow a majority of the rules over in the CVZ section of this website but I will be updating the information/requirements/stances on things. As for social media, rest assured that this website will be the face of it and we will continue to grow as time goes on. We will use this blog for stories, member spotlights, audio, video, our Ensenada trips etc etc etc. Also, CVZ Racing will become a minor racing partner under CVZ > Elite Z > CVZ Racing. We will be using the name for all things race track and beyond. This will be a hit marker for the introduction to beginner, amateur and professional race settings. I'm sure you know what requirements there will be, if not, I'll post details soon. Also, Also, non-Z members will be allowed to join CVZ, end of story. The requirements will most likely be extensive but, will be worth the process as you will be representing a very reputable car club/community. Thank you, -Jose p.s. Fuck this current car scene, let's make the car scene great again.

Quick update,
We are beginning to piece together items for the Datsun build. I will be removing the transmission and the suspension once the rotisserie arrives. Everything 240z will be delayed for the foreseeable future. I do, however, have a running build. It is not a Datsun/Nissan but it is keeping me sane through this difficult time of not having a running Z. If my wife and I do decide to sell the ej257 Bugeye, I do plan on maybe getting a 350z or 370z for track and canyons. One thing I missed is the canyon runs and cruises we used to do constantly. I am hoping to get back into that as soon as possible. I do prefer an pre-smog Z but at this point, I am okay with anything. Until then, -jose So here's a nasty plot twist for you, the bodyshop guy I took my Z to screwed me over. Not only did he screw me over but, he also screwed a few other people over as well. Needless to say, we are pending legal action and the Z is now back home with me. I will be restoring it myself, or at least, as much as I can. Unfortunately, all of the work I had done on the interior is to shit because the guy left it out in the elements for over a year and parts are missing as well. I know it will be nearly impossible to replace some series 1 pieces but at least I still have the car and was able to get it back. The only good news I have is that my engine guy should have the L28 ready soon, I'll be picking it up as soon as it's ready. But yeah, what a messed up couple of years it has been and I just wanted to come on here to give an update and to show that we are still here! We might not have social media anymore but, we sure as hell still have this website. Plans this year: Upgrade a few things on the website Establish a solid storefront Continue to grow the brand Restore the 240z and everything else in between! -jose Look at what they did to my boy! :( Poor thing was gutted smh Check out the carbies tho! They ain't webbies but I keep'em clean...
Our shop is now back open!
Feel free to check out the designs and check back often as we plan to release more and more designs soon! Thank you to everyone that has stuck with us throughout the years! -jose Always lagging it, never hiding it but, we are here. The 240z has been sent off to a body shop and is being worked on as we speak. Our engine shop is working on the engine components and will be tasked with putting the Z back together. Unfortunately, as I started working on the Z, I realized a pro needed to put hands on it and is the reason why I stopped working on it. The good news is that I got most of the interior done!
I will post more updates as we go. Thank you to everyone that has been staying up to date and a re-launch for Elite Z will be planned once the build is complete (errrr). -jose Due to some unforeseen set backs, the 240z build will be placed on a briefl hold until next year (hopefully). I am reaching nearly the end of building my wife's Subaru and once that gets taken care of, we will be able to continue the 240z. I need to strip the engine bay so I can send it back for paint and body work. I'll post an update on the next step with check lists soon!
Enjoy this pending perfection photo of the build! I am looking for website and brand feedback.

It's almost February and I forgot to provide an update. What else is new?
Well, the 370z was sold in December and our family Subaru WRX returned from the performance shop. 360whp on E85 are great numbers. It currently is being painted Deep Sea Blue Water Pearl and is expected to be finished soon! With the sacrifice of the 370z, there is finally progress on the 240z. It is currently being stripped of parts so we can send it off to paint and body. Stay tuned as I provide more information on that with pictures to come. -jose And just like that, they are gone.
If you had a chance to pre-order one, thank you. If you did not, there will be future opportunities! But, until then, stay tuned for future updates and releases... -Jose |
